- "Shit went bad. A civilian with a grudge took control of the refinery. The rescue dropships got wasted, and Shipp had to lead survivors through the station to the hangars. A lot of people got killed - civvies and Shipp's team. The bad guy herded them into xeno ambushes, ground them up in the works."
- ―First Lieutenant João Santos to an unidentified Marine (from Aliens: Fireteam Elite)
Wilkins was an engineer aboard the Seegson orbital refinery Katanga. During a Xenomorph outbreak on the refinery, Wilkins was in a state of disgruntlement, which prompted him to ensconce himself in a remote location and use the facility's systems to sabotage a United States Colonial Marine Corps rescue effort. Destroying the rescue dropships, Wilkins proceeded to lure Marines and civilians into Xenomorph ambushes, and kill others using the refinery's machinery. He was eventually flushed out of his hideaway by platoon leader Olivia Shipp, who made it a priority to hunt Wilkins down. Wilkins' actions were described to an unidentified Marine by First Lieutenant João Santos in 2202.
Behind the scenes[]
Wilkins was initially slated to appear in Aliens: Colonial Marines - Rising Threat, a Dark Horse Comics series released in 2021 to promote the then-upcoming video game Aliens: Fireteam Elite; however, the series was cancelled before release. Wilkins is still referenced in the game itself, though he is not identified by name.
