'Waxed Moustache' was an otherwise unnamed French voyageur and member of Big Beard's fur trapping party, active across the Great Plains in 1719. Upon him and his men encountering the Feral Predator, he would capture the Comanche woman, Naru and use her, alongside her brother Taabe, as bait to lure it into a trap.
Following this failed attempt, he was presumably killed by the creature after it activated several proximity mines to kill the remaining voyageurs.
Biography[]
'Waxed Moustache' was a member of Big Beard's band of voyageurs, active within Comanche territory in the Great Plains, callously slaughtering buffalo for their hides and remaining hostile towards the neighbouring natives. During some period, the voyageurs would encounter the Feral Predator, and would subsequently plot to capture or kill the creature.
Capturing Naru and battling the Predator[]

After Comanche woman Naru had a near-fatal encounter with the creature, she was ultimately caught in a bear trap set by the voyageurs. Waxed Moustache, Big Beard and two other trappers would find her shortly afterwards. Curious to see what she knew about the monster, Big Beard would knock her unconscious with the butt of his musket and bring her back to camp, locking her inside a makeshift cage.
Upon regaining consciousness, the trappers would attempt to have their translator Raphael reason with Naru, though she was uncooperative. As punishment, Big Beard had his men restrain Naru's brother, Taabe, and slowly sliced into his chest with a knife.
The next day, the voyageurs tied Naru and Taabe up to a tree within an ash-ridden open plane, hoping to use the two as bait to lure the Predator out, not realizing that the hunter took no interest in apprehended prey.
After the creature did emerge, and killed several lookouts in charge of the horses, the Predator was eventually caught in a bear trap, and the voyageurs subdued the creature with a net. However, the Predator easily escaped the trap, and promptly began a slaughter of the Frenchmen.

Despite protest that some of their allies would get caught in the crossfire by Waxed Moustache, Big Beard gave the order to fire at creature, to no avail. Eventually, the Predator deployed several proximity mines, and fled the battle. Waxed Moustache and several other voyageurs starred in awe at the floating devices. Suddenly realizing the threat, he called for he and his men to flee, before the devices activated, likely killing the remaining voyageurs within the vicinity.
Personality and Traits[]
Waxed Moustache appeared to be Big Beard's right-hand man, as he was usually seen alongside him. Though he was sadistic, and cruelly taunted Naru inside captivity, he at least showed concern for the friendly-fire of his fellow trappers, which Big Beard did not.
