Wasape was a Comanche hunter. He was killed by the Feral Predator.
Biography[]
Hunting the lion[]
After tribesman Puhi goes missing following an attack from a mountain lion, Wasape partook in a search party led by Taabe to find him. During their search, they encountered female member and Taabe's sister, Naru, who was following them in hopes of joining their hunt. Wasape taunted her, stating that their search party "won't be gone long enough to need a cook", though Taabe allowed her to join, citing her skills as a healer as useful. The party eventually found Puhi, gravely wounded and mauled, and while Taabe departed to hunt the lion, Wasape and the other members were to carry Puhi on a stretcher back to camp.
During nightfall, Naru noticed a flayed viper carcass and unusual footprints. Fearing for her brother, she departed from the group to find him, with Wasape ordering Paaka to accompany her. The lion was eventually killed by Taabe, and he was appointed war chief for his efforts, something that seemingly embittered Wasape.
Finding Naru and Death[]

After Naru secretly departed from the tribe to hunt an unknown force that was stalking the Great Plains' forestry, Taabe sent Wasape, Itsee, Ania and Huupi to look for her. Unbeknownst to them, Naru had encountered her assailant, which had killed a Grizzly Bear she was hunting.
The group eventually found Naru, the latter desperately attempting to explain what she saw, likening the unknown monster to a 'mupitsl'. After Wasape and the others arrogantly dismissed Naru's pleas, she attempted to depart, leading to Wasape and Naru to briefly fight. Naru eventually managed to come out on top of the fight, and Wasape feigned allowing Naru to leave to land a cheap shop on her and bind her.
The group found a spot to rest, before hearing a sound in the trees. Believing the source of the sound to be a possum, Wasape jeered at Naru, before the targeting laser of a Bio-mask appeared on his body. Before he could realize, Wasape was shot down with three bolts from the assailant's Bolt Gun, killing him. The 'mupitsl' eventually revealed himself to be a Yautja - the 'Feral Predator', and he would go on to kill the remaining members of Wasape's search party.
Personality and Traits[]
Wasape was largely arrogant and bigoted, and took an active, vocal, disliking towards Naru for her desire to join the male members of the tribe in hunting. Wasape seemed to hold aspirations of being a war chief, as he was notably unhappy amongst his tribesman after Taabe was appointed by chief Kehetu for killing the lion. He also wasn't above dishonorable tactics, allowing Ania to push Naru into his direction to land a cheap shot on her.
Wasape's skills as a warrior is largely unknown, as he was killed by the Feral Predator before being able to defend himself, though it can be assumed that he was at least capable in combat.
