Vooterverts were large, human–sized burrowing animals native to the world of Ataegina. They were named for their throaty call, which humans mimicked to signal one another and avoid detection by Xenomorphs. Vooterverts possessed yellow fur, a long nose with a pinkish snout, a tail, and large paws; each paw featured four elongated brown claws that, when locked together, resembled the shape of a shovel. The claws could be fashioned into items such as hair–pins or combs. Vootervert steak was a type of steak derived from the vootervert.[1]
