Veronica A. Cartwright (born April 20, 1949) is an English-born American actress who played Lambert in the 1979 film Alien. She later lent her voice and likeness to the character in the 2014 video game Alien: Isolation and its expansion packs. Other notable films Cartwright has appeared in include Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and Flight of the Navigator (1986). As well as her work on film, Cartwright has had an extensive career in television.

For her role in Alien, Cartwright won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. In addition to this, she has been nominated for three Emmys.
