The Vampiric Queen is a Queen born from Vampirella on Mars.
Biology[]
The Queen strongly resembles Queens birthed from humans but possesses wings. The speed of her development was incredibly fast as she attained full growth presumably within less than 24 hours, while this isn't unusual for Drones or Warriors, Queens have been known to have a longer development time. The vampiric Queen's actual incubation time was also no longer than the others, in fact Vampirella gave birth first, despite falling prey to a Facehugger last.
Trivia[]
- The Vampiric Queen is not the first winged Alien; Kenner has also produced a Flying Queen figure, from the Aliens: Space Marines series, as part of their Aliens line.
- Aliens/Vampirella is not the first story to feature a vampire/Xeno crossbreed either. The earlier crossover short Buffy the Vampire Slayer: In Space No One Can Hear You Slay! features a Xenomorph that was evidently born of a vampire, which is killed when it is exposed to sunlight.
