Ursa was a female Viking chief active in Scandinavia in 841.
Biography[]
When Ursa was young, her village was pillaged by the Krivichs led by Zoran. The invaders gravely wounded her father, and he forced her to kill him with her hands.
Many years later, Ursa and her son Anders led her clan to attack Zoran's people and confronted him in his fortress, where he was beheaded by Anders.
Immediately after, Ursa's warriors were ambushed by a hulking Yautja with a sonic prosthetic, who made quick work of them and seriously injured Anders. Afterwards, the Predator confronted Ursa on a frozen lake and defeated the creature. However, she was unable to save Anders, and he died in her arms.
Soon after, she was abducted by a Yautja ship and put into suspended animation.
The Arena[]
Many centuries later, she awakened in a cell, alongside Ronin Kenji and WWII pilot John J. Torres, not managing to communicate due to the language barrier.
The three are escorted to a gladiatorial arena, where a Yautja chief, who she refers to as 'Grendel King', tells them they will have to fight each other to the death, and the winner will have to fight him. When provided with a battle axe and driven by her lust for revenge over her son's death, she starts fighting the two. While Torres tries to reason with them, a giant creature is released in the arena and swallows him whole. The creature is then killed by Kenji and Ursa.
Unbeknownst to everyone else, Torres survived. and managed to get ahold of the Wrist Gauntlet of an eaten guard, using it to cut his way out of the creature and deactivate the explosive collars they are wearing, while stealing a hoverbike to fly towards Grendel King's spaceship.
Torres tries to understand how to fly the ship, while Kenji and Ursa keep the King at bay. The Yautja is then blasted away by the ship's engines, while the two warriors manage to jump on board the escaping ship.
As they start flying away, a harpoon strikes the ship, tearing Kenji's right arm clean off. Ursa decides to sacrifice herself, sliding down the cable and destroying the harpoon. Afterwards, she gets recaptured by the guards and put back into cryosleep.
Personality and Traits[]
Ursa was a very proud and stoic Viking warrior, driven by her lust for revenge, first for the father, then for her son; this led her to immediately attack the other humans, before they managed to convince her to work together, ultimately caring for them, sacrificing her own freedom so they could run away.
