An unnamed doctor treated Ellen Ripley when she was rescued from extended hypersleep in 2179.

The doctor only appeared during one of Ripley's nightmares aboard Gateway Station, and as such it is not known whether he was a real person or merely a figment of her imagination. However, it is likely the doctor was based on a real individual who had been treating her during her recovery (similar to the medical technician assigned to Ripley, who also appeared in her nightmares).

During a particularly vivid nightmare, the doctor responded to Ripley's sudden, violent convulsions, rushing into her hospital room and trying to pin her down so that he could administer treatment. However, a Chestburster insider he began to hatch, stunning the doctor into silence just before Ripley woke from the dream.
