The UD–9 Dropship, known colloquially as the Condor, was a type of combat utility spacecraft used by the United States Colonial Marine Corps. The UD–9 was notably more advanced than its predecessors and had a reputation for its durability and ability to stay airborne despite heavy damage. However, it suffered low manoeuvrability, putting it at a great disadvantage in air–to–air warfare.[1]
