Tungsten was a type of metal. It could be refined from the mineral ore scheelitewolframite. Tungsten was present in a star system occupied by Novgorod Station. The Fabrications section at the Weyland-Yutani Corporation research outpost Pala Station on LV-895 produced a tungsten–coated glass used for containment.
