Thomas "Tommy" Flanagan (born July 3, 1965) is a Scottish actor who played Mark Verheiden in the 2004 film Alien vs. Predator. Other notable films Flanagan has appeared in include Braveheart (1995), Face/Off (1997), Gladiator (2000) and Sin City (2005). Aside from his work in film, Flanagan has had an extensive career in television. He is perhaps best-known for his role as Filip "Chibs" Telford in the crime drama series Sons of Anarchy (2008-2014).

Flanagan is known for his distinctive facial scarring, the result of a knife attack that took place outside a nightclub where he had been working as a DJ in the early 1990s.[1]
