Toby Cypress is an American comic book, conceptual and storyboard artist who worked on the comic Predator: Homeworld for Dark Horse Comics.

Biography

Cypress attended the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning & Comics Art, where he met frequent collaborator artist Brian Wood (with whom he would later create the crime comic 'The Tourist' from Ait/PlanetLAR in 2006.)

Cypress graduated from the Kubert School in 1997. He has since worked for most publishers in the comic book industry, contributing to such anthologies and titles as 'Popgun Vol. 1' (Image), 'Swallow Book Four' (IDW), Image's 'Killing Girl', DC's 'Batman/Nightwing' and Marvel's 'Uncanny X-Men', among others.

His most recent work has been his creator-owned comic Rodd Racer.

Cypress currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, where he also works as a storyboard artist and conceptual designer for clients like Tokyo Pop and Nike.
