Titan was the name given to a gargantuan Xenomorph born from an alien being on the moon of Lethe. In 2198, it was encountered by members of the United States Colonial Marine Corps who had penetrated the underground city in which it dwelled.
Characteristics[]
Titan was massive, far larger than any human-spawned Xenomorph and even the Queen. Having been spawned from a giant Ancient Citizen, it inherited some of the genetic characteristics from its host; it had small claw-like hind legs and lacked a fully developed jaw[1]. Since it lacked fully developed legs, it crawled using its arms. It had a large carapace similar to that of a Queen. And much like the Queen, when in a dormant state, Titan could retract its head into its carapace. Its four-pronged inner jaw could extend to a great length that it used to attack. Given its size, its Mesoskeleton could withstand armor-piercing ammunition.
Biography[]
At some point in time, long before the human settlement on Lethe, one of the citizens of the underground Xeno City was subdued by a large face-hugger variant and was impregnated with a Chestburster and was killed when the creature erupted from its chest. It's unknown what events unfolded following Titan's birth. Titan matured, scraped its den[2], and became dormant for unknown periods of time. In 2198 Titan was awakened when a group of Colonial Marines went into the mysterious Xeno City in search of Cassandra. Hayes, Martinez, and Stern find Cassandra and rescue her from the restraints, unaware of nearby danger. Cassandra sensed the giant beast awakening from its slumber. Still, before anyone could react, Titan killed Martinez with its secondary jaw, emerged from its den, killed Stern with a swipe of one hand, and charged at Hayes and Cassandra. The women manage to lose Titan but were cornered at the exit. As Titan is about to kill Cassandra and Hayes, it is stopped by Harper who at the cost of his life used his ability to briefly immobilize Titan, allowing the women to bypass the massive Xenomorph and escape. Titan regains control and pursues Hayes and Cassandra but loses them as they narrowly escape the Xeno City in an elevator. Following nuclear blasts most likely killed Titan.

Trivia[]
- Some of the early concepts of Titan depicted the creature as more snake-like in appearance and movement.
- According to the concept artist Richard Masa, H.R. Giger's Necronom (Alien III) served as one of the inspirations when designing Titan Xenomorph[3].
