Earth colony TerraForm 3 is a predominantly rocky planet that was colonized by humans and is now used for cattle ranching. TerraForm 3 had one sun and at least one moon. It was subject to a severe Xenomorph infestation that was wiped out by the Space Marines.[1]
History[]
TerraForm 3 was presumably the third planet to be terraformed by Earth. It became host to several human cattle ranches and at least two large settlements. It would eventually become the site of a large Xenomorph infestation that took over the ranches and attacked the settlements, this infestation was driven back by Lieutenant Ripley's Space Marines, though it was too late to save most of the colonists.[1]

Flora and Fauna[]
TerraForm 3 had developed several forests and large grass plains, presumably as a result of being terraformed.
Large numbers of cattle were introduced to the planet by human ranchers.[2] There is evidence to suggest that large snakes and mantids also populated the planet.[3][4]
Climate and Terrain[]
TerraForm 3 presumably possessed a hot climate, suggested by the mostly desert landscape and clothing worn by the colonists.
The terrain was mostly rocky and filled with deserts, though thanks to terraforming, there were several large grassy plains and forests on the planet's surface. Small seas were particularly prevalent close to the coast, the planet also had one large ocean.[5]

Unnamed Earth Colony[]
The unnamed Earth colony was a large human settlement with a shuttle launch pad for transport between the settlement and the Lunar Installation. This settlement was the site of a Mantis Alien attack that was wiped out by the Space Marines. Giant Facehuggers also managed to get inside the settlement and were responsible for wiping out most of the colonists.[4]
Tuva Settlement[]
Tuva Settlement was a small human town with a Western-aesthetic, it was home to most of the ranchers on the planet. This settlement was used as a rest and recuperation site for Ripley's Space Marines unit. A lone Bull Alien attacked this settlement, where it was killed by Hicks.[2]
Ranches[]
The planet had various ranches set up on its surface, these ranches became host to a Xenomorph infestation and one, in particular, became the site of a Xenomorph hive.[5] This hive and its Queen were wiped out by the Space Marines and A.T.A.X.[3]
Behind the Scenes[]
This planet would later serve as the inspiration for the planet Gamma Leporis 3A in Alien: The Roleplaying Game, also known as Terraform 3.
