Taylor was a crewmember aboard the transport vessel Incunabulum. He was serving on the ship when it unknowingly set down on a moon infested by Xenomorphs, leading to the death of all but one of its crew and passengers.

Taylor, along with the rest of the crew, was captured by the Xenomorphs and taken to their Hive. He died sacrificing himself by detonating a grenade in an attempt to kill the creatures.

Taylor, along with the rest of his ships members, was ambushed by a group of Xenomorphs on an unknown moon and taken to their hive.

Taylor was killed in the early stages of Paul Church's experience within the hive when he, after witnessing the destruction of Hyperdyne 129-4 Judith at the hands of the Aliens, decided to commit suicide by getting out a grenade and blowing himself up, taking out two other Xenomorphs with him. Because of the fact that he was one of the few crewmembers not to experience the grotesque physical and mental torture that the rest of the team suffered from, Church regarded him as a "lucky bastard".
