Tatsumi was a crewmember aboard Anchorpoint Station. After the USS Sulaco arrived at Anchorpoint and instigated a Xenomorph outbreak on the station, he became one of the inhabitants trapped in a desperate fight for survival.

Tatsumi was infected by the Xenomorph pathogen and transformed into a Hybrid, although he was shot dead by Hicks before the process was finished.
