The Tartarus Clan were a clan of Yautja that established themselves on the Weyland-Yutani-claimed planet of LV-797, nicknamed Tartarus. Upon discovering an Engineer Juggernaut on the planet, the clan sought to claim the ship from themselves, defending it from possible invaders. They would eventually find themselves in conflict with the United States Colonial Marine Corps, and engaged in multiple skirmishes with Captain Paget's platoon.
