"Yautja Prime" or "Predator Homeworld"?[]
What's the source for the name "Yautja Prime"? It's referred to as the "Predator Homeworld" on the AVPR DVD.---CadmiumX99 16:19, October 11, 2010 (UTC) The naming might be an influence of Star Trek
- It's fan-fiction apparently, see: Talk:Xenomorph Prime#Xenomorph Prime IS NOT Homeworld TrekTrek (talk) (Contribs) 02:16, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
The Homeworld from AVPR in Predators?[]

The homeworld in AVPR

The rock ringed planet to the left
Interested to find out if the "rock-ringed" planet to the left was intended to be the same one seen in AVPR. Even though RR says P3 "ignores" the other movies, it doesn't exactly discount them either. Could be an "Easter Egg"/shout-out by the effects artist. Even if that's not the case, the Predator homeworld still raises a lot of interesting questions. If the Preds see heat, why not live in a cooler climate where everything stands out more? Maybe it's a macho hunter thing... ---CadmiumX99 14:22, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
The hunting reserve planet from predators could not be orbiting the predator homeworld as the article suggests. In the predators film, the main charactor (name eludes me) points out that the star hadn't moved in the sky. That means the hunting reserve planet was in a tidal lock with the star, and thus could not be orbiting another planet.
Planet name[]
Assuming "Eyes of the Demon" and "Rift War" have just translated the planet name to English, as "Yautja Prime" for the readers' benefit, do we know the Yautja word for "prime"? XenoPaperRock (talk) (Contribs) 05:38, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
