Whoever wrote the second part of this article is putting commas in the wrong places. I don't even want to look at any other articles on this Wiki due to that fact. Someone needs to go through every article and correct them. They're very juvenile looking because of this writer, whoever he or she is. sec_1971 19:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Somebody put the xenomorphs in the wrong category , they should be in sentient species instead of creatures.

editers should try not to mix canon and non-canon alien or info together,at very least say what is canon or not, also i think the drone and warrior should be merged as a drone is a warrior,a warrior is a drone that is older and has molted more. You're all right, I have made a theory that could explain taht, but it wsn't that necessery, so I'll do something else, much better.

The term 'xenomorph' does not mean "The alien from Alien".[]

This has driven me crazy for years. People need to read more often, it seems. The word xenomorph simply means "other form" or, more to the present point, "alien lifeform". The rampant misusage of the word by fans undoubtedly stems from (forgive me) ignorance to a line said by Lt. Gorman in 'Aliens'.

HUDSON
Is this going to be a stand-up
                    fight, Sir, on another bug-hunt?

                                   GORMAN
All we know is that there's
still no contact with the colony
and that a xenomorph may be
                    involved.

                                   WIERZBOWSKI
                    A what?

                                   HICKS
                           (to Wierzbowski;
                           low)
                    It's a bug-hunt.
                           (louder)
                    So what are these things?

Gorman was not stating the name of the species in question. He, like everyone else, doesn't know what to call it, so he gives it a non-specific "placeholder" name, rather than saying "alien lifeform". Due to his being an insecure prick, the character Gorman felt he had to use an "elevated term" to show how smart he (thinks he) is. As the scene continues, Wierzbowski does indeed ask for an explanation of the term but Hicks interrupts with a short n' sweet summary, obviously intuiting that Gorman will use this opportunity to again show how "smart" he is, and wanted to avoid conflict.

I therefore submit that the name of this article and all other references to the same be changed, since "xenomorph" literally just means an alien, and not this alien.

Please sign your posts. In Aliens: Steel Egg the creatures are spacifically stated to be Xenos, just to clarify. Spikeygod69 04:51, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

T-Rex VS Alien Queen[]

Who wins with T-Rex and Alien Queen?

RULES

  • This queen has no acid blood.

Quite easy because the alien queen has it's tail, claws and it's second mouth and also it can summon lots of other aliens to help it.

This topic is to simplistic.[]

I think we should rewrite most articles that have to do with the Intercaious-Raptus... They are extermly adaptable, and have limitless diffrent configuations. For instance I will point out that the Intervaious-Raptus that come form the planet know as "Xenomorph Prime" are not complete like Intervaious-Raptus that come from Homo sapiens. Anyone that ones a copy of Aliens Genocide should/will notice that those Intervaious-Raptus have a diffrent look, they also apper to have hands for feet, and most deffinetly are stronger than any Intervaious-Raptus that come from Homo sapiens, just on acount that the Creatures that live on "Xenomorph Prime" are very deadly and strong.

I would do this edit but it will be awhile like after December. I also have picture of everything from AvP Extinction, EVERYTHING so I have a long road ahead of me to complete once December is over.TI154th 23:55, December 7, 2010 (UTC)TI154th

Admin Account Hacked[]

Hi guys

I haven't been on Xenopedia for a long time. I founded this Wiki, and it's great to see how it's grown. I thought I should warn you that this account has been hacked (hence the sudden activity) and that since the current user has been granted administrator status you may want to check their credentials.

ps.

I know that a lot of people won't believe me, and I don't want to pick a fight, so I won't check any replies to this message. It's up to you guys. By the way, check out Wookiepedia's main page the same week that Xenopedia was created and compare the layouts (I ripped off the design). I hope that gives me at least a little credibility.

Height[]

I edited the height to around 7'5" - 8'0", which is more accurate, considering in the film Ripley describes them as being closer to 8'. Also the actor in the suit in ALIEN was 7'2". --Kluutak (talk) (Contribs) 00:19, May 2, 2011 (UTC)
