Brett screaming[]
Since he was a victim of a headbite, wouldn't that cause fatal brain damage that would have killed him instantly? AnonymousOutlast (talk) (Contribs) 14:58, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
A minor continuity blooper. HadAnd0426 (talk) (Contribs) 10:54, June 24, 2017 (UTC)

- It's not necessarily a goof either. People have been shot in the head and survived with no long-term ill effects. It's not entirely implausible that he was alive long enough to scream.-- LEIGH BURNE(Talk) 14:17, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry. Really forgetful. :P Anyway, isn't the headbite meant to target the brain directly, usually through the forehead? And since it usually goes through the forehead, that would destroy the frontal lobe, correct? And if the frontal lobe is destroyed, wouldn't that destroy your ability to speak?
- I dunno. Maybe I'm just putting too much thought into this. AnonymousOutlast (talk) (Contribs) 14:58, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
- As I said, people have survived surprisingly severe brain injuries, to the frontal cortex and elsewhere. The only section of the brain you technically need to be alive is the medulla oblongata — that's the part that operates your body's vital functions, and it's right at the base, at the back of your head behind your mouth.
- I'm not suggesting Brett could have survived his injury. I just don't think it's completely unrealistic that he had time to get a scream out before he died.-- LEIGH BURNE(Talk) 15:10, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
