Stasis Interrupted DLC[]
Did the Weyland-Yutani LV-426 Origin Research Facility (ugh, thats a mouthful, I'll just say Origin Facility for now on) appear in the Aliens: Colonial Marines-Stasis Interrupted DLC (I'll just say the DLC for that) because I have been told that it leads up to how Corporal Hicks ended up with the bag on his head near the end in the main game single player mode. If so, could they please include the information in the Origin Facility article. Brian (talk) (Contribs) 16:28, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
It appears in the DLC but i'm pretty sure you only see it when it is still under construction. Toa Quarax (talk) (Contribs) 18:28, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
If it adds any detail on how the Origin Facility was built then it should be added. I'm dowloading the DLC right now so I'll add any information I find out about the Origin Facility if it is necessary and provided I reach that part of the game as well because I'll admit I'm not an expert at the it. :P Brian (talk) (Contribs) 22:10, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
- It doesn't tell us anything we don't already know, you just see some of the modules being flown in. The only info of note (which I will add right now) is that the Queen holding cell appears to be one of the first areas completed.--Leigh Burne (talk) (Contribs) 07:47, July 30, 2013 (UTC)
How?[]
How was this place constructed so quickly? Is this an indication that Weyland-Yutani is very powerful (not that that hasn't already been established in Aliens and Alien 3 and maybe a very little in Alien) in the building giant things in a small amount of time sort of way. On the page it mentions that the Origin Facility was constructed in just a few weeks thanks to the use of pre-constructed modular lab units. --Toa Quarax (talk) (Contribs) 22:16, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
Shinyo Maru was the second ship to rediscover the derelict[]
The ACMTM states that when Shinyo Maru's expedition team arrived at the derelict site, Science Division (D15) were already there. This is the Resolute. In the lore there is a distinction between Weyland Yutani and Science DIvision (D15).

"The Shinyo Maru confirms, sir. Science Division are on-site at the derelict. Tanaka wants orders. Should he arrange an accident?"
"Not yet. Tell him to keep his powder dry. First I need to negotiate with Trudeau on a secure line. If he's smart, he won't try and muscle us out of the bonus share."

- The "Science Division" mentioned in that Tech Manual transcript are personnel the Shinyo Maru has transported there. They're reporting that they've set down and sent people to the derelict. Tanaka's asking if he should arrange for some lowly tech to get impregnated, so they'll have a sample. Notice those comfiles from "REDDOG ONE" are also tagged "shinyom", implying they came from the same ship. I think it's just multiple agents on one vessel. The book is quite clear the Shinyo is the first vessel Weyland-Yutani have sent to investigate the site.--
