I feel the reason to ask, how did the meal worms get all though way to a moon void of oxygen (not counting the temple). I mean they are worms! They can't go though a worm hole (hahah) or anything, right? Zharksman (talk) (Contribs) 02:28, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

It is possible that the engineers brought them there to test the black liquid's effectiveness, in fact that could have been what started the outbreak that killed them. The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 02:40, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

The moon was not void of oxygen. It just had a higher concentration of carbon dioxide. Still, you assume that those meal worms needed the same type of atmosphere as humans.

Yes, that was an assumption but that is because it is unlikely that the moon could sustain life without the dome, yet again we never saw much of the moon. The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 22:31, June 19, 2012 (UTC)

just a thought

maybe there DNA was used by the engineers to create Facehuggers?

they act a lot like them... how he open his "wings" or how it wrap his tail on the scientists arm.

+ the acid Blood.

maybe the engineers collect species from the whole galaxy...

Origin of name?

Who had the bright idea to call them Hammerpedes and why haven't we included it in the article? 23:21, December 7, 2013 (UTC)

Included what in the article? The origin of the name?--Toa Quarax (Talk) (Contribs) 23:34, December 7, 2013 (UTC)

Yes. The origin of the name. Who called them Hammerpedes. 15:23, December 21, 2013 (UTC)

I know it's an official name, but I can't remember where I saw it.--Toa Quarax (Talk) (Contribs) 17:31, December 21, 2013 (UTC)
