It was made clear in Prometheus that the space jockey was indeed NOT fossilized on the derelict ship in Alien. Instead, the dead space jockey was in fact wearing the space jockey spacesuit. Make the change, you kooky xenophiles! Greg102 69.126.201.89 19:57, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

You could do it yourself you know, anyway fossilization can still happen in one way or another. The suit could have degraded with age etc. The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 20:03, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Is there a Ossian alien on board and im not refering to the promethus deacon i am talkin about the xeno from aliens destroying angels173.228.64.59 20:04, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Are you talking about the creature that came from the space jockey in TDA? The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 20:32, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Article Name[]

The article can't decide whether it is strictly about Derelict (LV-426) or should also cover Derelict (LV-223). Wouldn't it be more useful to have an "Engineer ship" article instead of jamming them together? The Engineer article lists a few appearances of Engineer ships which were active that look identical and there was also another LV-223 ship. --Nyktimos (talk) (Contribs) 17:24, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

I know what you mean, the derelict ship should cover only the ship in alien/aliens and the other media it has been in. It should mention that identical ships existed in prometheus though, either through trivia or behind the scenes and so on.

The ship in prometheus is apparently nicknamed Juggernaut. We need sources for that and then we can either make a separate page for it or rename a page if it already exists (not this article though) 217.137.157.197 18:36, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

i am talkin about the space jocky alien in destroying angels is there one on the nostrmo and i am not refering do the promethus deacon173.228.64.59 05:46, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

You should of put that in the destroying angels section above but to answer your question, no. The alien on the nostromo was a drone. The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 11:10, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

is there a space jocky alien like the one from aliens destroying angels or aliens infesation is it dead I it there because xenos dont need food or water contuary to belief173.228.64.59 17:54, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry but I already answered your question, please do not repeat it again. AVP-R shows an alien eating a corpse. The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 18:32, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Rename[]

I'm thinking of renaming this page to "Derelict (LV-426)" to differentiate it from the derelict ship of differing design on LV-178 in Alien: Out of the Shadows and Alien: Sea of Sorrows, which I plan to create an article for in the near future. I was also thinking of dropping "Ship" from the title, because most often it seems to be referred to as just "the Derelict" by the production team (most notably by Ridley Scott). If anyone has any thoughts please share.--Leigh Burne (Talk) (Contribs) 08:27, October 6, 2014 (UTC)
