Why David (Michael Fassbender) infected Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall Green) with the Engineer's Black goo?[]
Right after David tested the substance in the lab, He took on the goo in his fingertips and dropped it in Holloway's beverage which the doctor unknown of david's actions drunk the cup with the Black Goo. My question was why had David (Michael Fassbender) put the gooey substance into halloway's drink? Was it to exact revenge for an earlier insult? - Well, we don't know that for SURE. As far as Covenant goes, David could just be replicating a process older than time, hense the fossilized pilot on LV-426. Planet 4 = Engineer homeworld?[]

While it wasn't explicitly stated to be such in film, at the end of Prometheus David and Shaw charted a course for the Engineer homeworld. That they arrived at Planet 4 implies it to be said homeworld. Arawn 999 (talk) (Contribs) 02:41, June 3, 2017 (UTC)
