How Much Story Content?

Given that individual playthroughs can result in events occuring slightly different orders - or even certain events not occurring, based on the player's actions - and that walkthrough pages might handle the action of the game better than a write-up here, is it worth including a blow-by-blow of the plot of the game from Amanda's perspective?

Amanda Ripley Rename

While I'm OK in principle with this page being renamed as it has been, I think it should have been discussed first. I guess the question is whether we want the page to reflect the most widely-used version of her name, or the ultimate version she had when she died.--Buck-ark LEIGH BURNE(Talk) 16:05, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

Well I am not sure on this, both names are correct, this definitely should have been discussed first, and so I think until a discussion is done, it should go back to the way it was. In my own opinion, either name is fine. --PredTriLaser The Cruentus(Talk) 20:38, April 5, 2015 (UTC)

Amanda Ripley is only the most widely-used name in a real world context. In-universe. Amanda Ripley-McClaren would be more correct. It's also what we use first in the article and infobox.--Toa Quarax(Talk) 02:37, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
Like I said, I'm personally OK with either — Ripley is obviously by far the more widely used now that Isolation has come out, but Ripley-McClaren is more in-line with the wiki's policy of writing articles in-universe and after-the-fact. Still, if the consensus is to revert to the original, I'm fine with that. Obviously Amanda Ripley will be left as a redirect.--Buck-ark LEIGH BURNE(Talk) 09:09, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
Right then, it should be changed back,  both me and Leigh don't really mind the name either but we also agree Ripley-McClaren is more correct, so feel free to to change it guys unless there are others who wish to add their opinion. --PredTriLaser The Cruentus(Talk) 11:04, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
