Overview[]
The TX-9 fired darts capable of delivering pharmaceuticals, toxins, or serum-based bioweapons. Biochemical tracers could also be injected by darts fired from the TX-9; these required the use of an autodoc to remove.
History[]
At least one TX-9 pistol was present at the Norcomm Ouragan Testing Facility on the Union of Progressive Peoples planet KOI-571.02 as of 2184. This pistol had been modified as part of the UPP's "Heomopf" weapons program to inject an individual with a neomorph egg sac at a distance.
