The Super Predator-controlled Xenomorphs were a modified breed of Xenomorphs created by the Super Predator Clan on LV-412. They were designed to be completely docile to the Super Predators and were even hostile towards normal strains of Xenomorphs as demonstrated when they attacked the Drone who was trying to free the Queen from the Super Predators.
History[]
Creation[]
When the Super Predator Clan captured the Queen on LV-412, they used her to breed their own army of Xenomorph attack dogs which they had modified to obey their commands through manipulation of the captured Queen. They were subsequently tested by being unleashed against a captured Jungle Hunter Clan member who managed to kill all the Aliens sent after him, prompting the overseeing Berserker to decapitate him.
Use on LV-412[]
With Weyland-Yutani stealing eggs and breeding their own Xenomorphs free from Super Predator control and a Jungle Hunter Clan Scout Ship shot down, the Super Predators unleashed their new attack dogs on the Colonial Marine compound where they come into contact with the Warrior Yautja. Deeper into the compound, the Warrior Yautja comes face to face with a Super Predator-controlled Praetorian which he manages to slay after a lengthy battle.
Outside the compound, the controlled-Xenomorphs fought alongside the Super Predators against a single Drone which managed to overpower them all. As the Warrior Yautja heads into the ancient temple, he slew a large number of the controlled-Xenomorphs, eventually making his way into the hive. Simultaneously the Drone also makes its way through the temple, killing many controlled-Xenomorphs and Super Predators on its way down. The Drone eventually reaches the Berserker Clan-leader who utilizes many of the controlled-Xenomorphs as defenses, ultimately the controlled-Xenomorphs are killed and the Berserker impregnated by a Facehugger. Around the same time, the Warrior Yautja killed the Queen that was used to breed this strain of Xenomorph.
Ultimate fate[]
It is unknown what happened to the Super Predator-Controlled Xenomorphs after the Berserker and Queen were killed. It is implied they were freed from the dominion of the Super Predators and returned to being regular Xenomorphs.
Characteristics[]
The most notable physical characteristic of this strain of Xenomorphs were the glowing bright red markings along their carapaces, each caste's markings were unique. It is not known exactly what these markings are as they seem to almost float just above the heads of the Xenomorphs, possibly indicating the markings are a type of Super Predator technology. These Super Predator-controlled Aliens behaved mostly like normal Xenomorphs, though they were also docile towards the Super Predators and would follow their orders. They were also highly hostile towards regular Xenomorphs, attacking them without hesitation. They also seemed to have all the same castes as the normal Xenomorphs.
Trivia[]
- The various Super Predator-controlled Xenomorphs seen in in-game stills and promotional material tend to not have their distinguishing red markings. A notable exception is the Praetorian in Predator Mission 6 - Power Out.
