He had no arms and legs but he had a powerful tail allowing him to attack and to evolve in trees. he also possesses a wide ruffle wich he spread before spitting some acid at theses victims.

The two mandible-like structures on the upper jaw of the Snake alien are likely inherited from the host's fangs.
The Snake Alien's ruffle and ability to spit acid point to the host being a spitting cobra which also has a hood and can spit venom.
