Sister Midnight (from Witchblade/Aliens/Darkness/Predator: Mindhunter)

Sister Midnight was a female Yautja who finds herself mysteriously drawn to the power of Sara Pezzini's Witchlade during an attempt to stop an Alien infestaion on Earth.

While Sara Pezzini (Witchblade) and Jackie Estacado (The Darkness) are waking from their joined nightmare in a space craft orbiting Earth, owned by Witchblade's arch nemesis Kenneth Irons, Sister Midnight was breaching the hull of this space craft in an attempt to stop an alien invasion on Earth. However, when she and her comrades attempted to board Irons' ship, automated defenses blew her comrades away while she herself just barely managed to sneak on-board with her life.

On her own now, she soon tracks down Sara Pezzini and Jackie Estacado, but finds herself so powerfully drawn to the Witchblade that she doesn't even attempt to attack. She, instead, allies herself with them, though it seems that shes only doing this to keep Sara from being killed by anyone but herself. They then come face-to-face with the DarkAlien, a Xenomorph born from a Darkling, an creature summoned by The Darkness' supernatural powers. The DarkAlien proves to be a fearsome foe but after being tricked into an airlock, Sister Midnight tries to help herself to the Witchblade, but is stop by Sara, who tries to negotiate peace and tells her that they need to work together just before Jackie threatened to kill her with her own detached plasma caster. Sister midnight cloaks and retreats for the moment, but comes back to assist them against the DarkAlien.

Sara & Jackie are near to being engulfed by the Darkalien, however, the Witchblade transferred itself to Sister Midnight and she, along with Jackie, combined their efforts to destroy the Darkalien, and the Witchblade returns to Sara. Sister Midnight, though badly injured, still sought to end Iron's scheme for good. Per her wishes, Sara helps Sister Midnight set her self-destruct timer to go off. After taking off in an escape shuttle, Sara & Jackie see Sister Midnight's self-destruct device destroy Irons' ship, thereby completing her mission while also giving her an honorable death in the eyes of her people.

  • Unlike female Predators from other stories, Sister Midnight's physical description matches the descriptions given in the Alien vs. Predator (franchise) novel series, which state female Yautja have overtly feminine features such as breasts.
