Ammunition[]
- Shells: Each shell contains a number of pellets that spread out in roughly conical manner. Shells are deadly against soft targets but have problems penetrating armored targets. [1] The effectiveness of this type of ammunition decreases with distance.
- Slugs: A single projectile is fired that is effective against armored targets. [1]
Usage[]
The shotgun saw a limited use with the Weyland-Yutani Corporation guards deployed in Forward Observation Pods on LV-1201 as well as Iron Bears mercenary unit. [2] It was also popular among Marines in spite of the Corps frowning upon the use of personal weapons. [1]

- Alongside a knife and an M4A4 Pistol, this is one of Major Dunya's starting weapons.
- Although the shotgun was not given any official designation either in-game or in the accompanying game-related publications, it bears a close resemblance to the shortened version of Mossberg 590.
