Seanan McGuire (born January 5, 1978) is an American author and musician who wrote the young adult novel Alien: Echo, as well as the short story Blood and Sand for the anthology Predator: If It Bleeds (writing under the pseudonym Mira Grant). She is set to contribute for the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator: Ultimate Prey prose anthology.
