Ryo Kuan was a colonist and miner living at Bowen's Landing. She and a group of fellow miners encountered a lone Xenomorph in the mine where they worked.
Ryo was among those who elected to stay and face the Xenomorph in the mine rather than risk it escaping into the colony above. It is unknown if she survived the encounter with the creature.
