Robyn Miles was a Terran refugee living in Luna City after evacuating Earth during the major Xenomorph XX121 outbreak in 2192. She suffered from recurring nightmares of the aliens as a result of trauma and was admitted to the Kaf Primal Fear Clinic when she was 18.
Her nightmares were secretly being recorded and sold to Orson Masch Entertainment Industries by Dr. Kaf. After spending five years in the institution, she was rescued by her father.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
- "She killed my race, so I'll turn the favor back, I figure."
- ―Robyn talking about a Xenomorph Queen (from Aliens: Horror Show)
Robyn was presumably born on Earth during the late 22nd century to Mr. and Mrs. Miles. At a young age, she suffered through the major Xenomorph XX121 outbreak in 2192, where her family managed to survive by fleeing the planet for a colony on the moon known as Luna City.
Institutionalized[]
- "Daddy?"
"It's okay, Robyn-honey. Dr. Kaf is the best there is." - ―Robyn being reassured by her father (from Aliens: Horror Show)
Growing up, Robyn was plagued by nightmares of the vicious aliens that stole her homeworld, suffering from deep-seated early memory trauma. When she was 18, her parents had her admitted into the Kaf Primal Fear Clinic, hoping that she'd be able to be cured of her irrational fears.
Robyn was hooked up to a machine designed to stimulate and record her nightmares in order to allow her to face and overcome her fears. Almost immediately after being induced into a state of REM sleep, she began experiencing vivid dreams of Facehuggers and Ovomorphs.
Personality and Traits[]
- "The 'do-it-or-die-tryin' girl'... That's me."
- ―Robyn in a dream (from Aliens: Horror Show)
Robyn was molded by her extensive time spent in Xenomorph-infested virtual reality nightmares, becoming a resourceful survivalist with a vengeful streak. She had become fairly fearless, willing to venture deep into Xenomorph hives alone and unarmed. She even seemed to take some pleasure in her activities on what she believed to be Xenomorph-infested Earth.
Trivia[]
- While her eyes are initially depicted as green, she is later seen with blue eyes. Her hair similarly changes tone throughout the comic, starting off as auburn, then blue, then maroon, and finally light brown.
- Robyn's method of evading Xenomorph detection most likely would not work outside of the virtual reality dreams, based on Xenomorph behavior seen in other titles. It was most likely her own mind's power of suggestion that allowed her disguise to function.
- She appears to have some form of unknown relationship with the character Hicks as he dreams of her face and calls her "Honey" when hooked up to the OMEI virtual reality system.
