Robert Skotak (born May 17, 1945) is an Academy Award-winning American effects artist, director, producer, artist, actor and editor who served as visual effects supervisor on the 1986 film Aliens. He is the brother of Dennis Skotak, who also worked on Aliens.
For his work on Aliens, Skotak won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects (shared with Stan Winston, John Richardson and Suzanne M. Benson). In addition to this, he has won a further Academy Award (Best Visual Effects for Terminator 2: Judgement Day), two BAFTAs and a Saturn Award.
