- "Renegade stands his ground...Wondering if his first hunt will end...In defeat...Or victory!"
- ―Aliens vs. Predator: The Ultimate Battle
Renegade, also known as the Renegade Predator, was a Yautja Young Blood and member of the Jungle Hunter Clan.
Biography[]
A member of the Jungle Hunter Clan and associate of the original Jungle Hunter that slaughtered Dutch Schaefer's men in 1987, Renegade often hunted with, and became an apprentice of Cracked Tusk, spending time training with his clan. He was reckless and headstrong, and resultantly had not yet acquired his first Xenomorph kill.
Renegade shared a tense relationship with fellow hunter Scavage, a half-breed Super Predator who continued to worship the Nightstorm Predator, a 'devil' in Jungle Hunter Culture.[1]
Xenomorph Hunt[]
Renegade accompanied Cracked Tusk's clan in a Xenomorph hunt on an unknown planet. They soon discovered a hive and lured all fully grown Xenos out of the hive by flushing them out with fire. Renegade, eager to complete his Blooding Ritual enthusiastically shoots his Plasmacaster at the horde, with Cracked Tusk stopping him.
After a brief wait, Cracked Tusk gave a war cry, announcing that the hunt had begun. Renegade scoured the jungle looking for prey, before he is attacked by a Drone, who disarms him of his bladed weapon. This only angers Renegade, however, and he clashes with the creature bare-handed. A second Drone soon emerged, but before it could attack, a Predator on a blade fighter appeared and incapacitated the Drone, leaving Renegade and the first Drone in a standoff. It is unknown what happened to Renegade afterwards.
Equipment[]
In addition of some of the Yautja traditional weaponry, Renegade was helped by Cracked Tusk to develop unique hunting equipment, resulting in him possessing a special Maul-like weapon and a modified Burner.
