The "Reapers" were a sentient species of advanced, green skinned, humanoid extraterrestrials who would partake in expeditions into Xenomorph hives to procure their eggs for sustenance.
Characteristics[]
The 'Reapers' are bald, green humanoids with bright white eyes, large teeth and flat noses. Reapers possess ample strength, being able to fight Xenomorphs with relative ease. It is also shown that Facehugger flesh is fit for consumption for them. It appears that Reapers share a similar mentality towards Xenomorphs as the Yautja species does, viewing the creatures as game to hunt on a regular basis. However, for Reapers, it seems that this is purely for big-game purposes, and not for Trophy hunting, unlike the Predators.

- The term "reaper" has been used several times in the Alien franchise, also appearing as the title of the comic book featuring the Reaper species, Aliens: Reapers, and the short story Reaper from the anthology novel Aliens: Bug Hunt, the name of the Reaper pistol featured in the novel Alien: Sea of Sorrows, and the name of the elite anti-Yautja team in the novel The Predator: Hunters and Hunted.
