The RMC F903WE Automatic Assault Rifle, also referred to as the F903WE or F90, was an automatic assault rifle used by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation's first major colonization missions during the early 22nd century. The F903WE later earned infamy for its use by Australian rebels during the Australia Wars.

The RMC F903WE Automatic Assault Rifle was an automatic assault rifle capable of firing shells. Despite its lack of efficacy against armor, the F903WE was a potent weapon nonetheless. It could be equipped with an Optical Scope to lend it greater range.
Notable users[]
Issued in the late 2080s, the F903WE was supplied to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation's security forces during several major long–range colony missions in the early 2100s, including the USCSS Covenant. The vessel's crew made use of the F903WE against the anti–colonization cult dubbed the Earthsavers, and also employed it to defend themselves from various alien creatures after an incidental survey of an uncharted world went awry. In subsequent years, the F903WE was used by the Three World Empire, colonial militias, and mercenaries. The rifle also gained notoriety for being the weapon of choice of Australian rebels during the Australia Wars, which were fought between 2172 and 2182.
Behind the scenes[]
The RMC F903WE is based on the F90, an assault rifle made by Thales for the Australian Army. For the weapon's presentation in Alien: Covenant, the F90s used were customized with folding stocks and Picatinny rails.[1] The novel Alien: Covenant - Origins refers to the F903WE as the F90.
