Prey 2 is the upcoming sequel to Prey. It is a separate project from Predator: Badlands.[1]

Prey 2 will take place in the same setting as its predecessor.[2]
Development[]
With the success of Prey, Dan Trachtenberg stated that he did not wish to develop a sequel. He instead pitched two ideas which became Predator: Badlands and Predator: Killer of Killers.[3]
Development on Prey 2 had begun by February, 2024. By this point in time, Badlands had priority over Prey 2. Amber Midthunder is in talks to reprise her role as Naru.[1] As of June, 2024, the film remained in "early development."[4]
