Manufactured by Armat Battlefield Systems, the pistol was semi–automatic and offered weak firepower; however, the latter was ameliorated by a fast rate of fire and an unlimited supply of ammunition.
Notable users[]
The pistol was used by members of the United States Colonial Marine Corps assigned to the UAS Endeavor as of 2202, and was also used by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation's security synthetics. During a USCM mission to rescue Timothy Hoenikker from the Xenomorph–infested Katanga refinery over LV-895, Hoenikker used the pistol to defend himself against the creatures.
Behind the scenes[]
The pistol appears in Aliens: Fireteam Elite and is available for any class. Because the player cannot select the weapon in their loadout menu, the pistol cannot be customized and its stats are not visible.
The pistol is designated as an M4 Pistol by its internal filename, though no mention of its actual model is made in–game.
