Philip D. Amara is an American comic book writer and editor who has worked on numerous comic books in Dark Horse Comics' Aliens, Predator and Aliens vs. Predator lines.
Outside of Dark Horse, Amara also wrote and released the book How to Be a Comic Book Artist, with fellow Aliens contributor Pop Mahn.
