Paul J. Mendoza is an American comic book, animation and film concept artist who has provided art for several comic books in Dark Horse Comics' Aliens and Aliens vs. Predator lines.
In 1989, Mendoza was one of the artists on a grahic novel about the life Jack the Ripper for Eternity Comics. In 1993 he drew the story Tensor Matrix: Salvage (with regular A/P/AVP editor at the time Edward Martin III) for the antholgoy series Negative Burn. This was followed by his Aliens and AVP work for Dark Horse including work for the company's self-titled anthology series Dark Horse Comics and the series Aliens: Frenzy.
