Panama, officially the Republic of Panama, is a country located in Central America. It is bordered by Costa Rica to the west, Colombia to the southeast, the Caribbean Sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. The capital and most populous city is Panama City, located in the center of the country.

As of 2122, the commercial tug Nostromo was based out of Panama.
