Pala Station was a classified Weyland-Yutani Corporation research facility located on the surface of the Outer Rim Territories planet LV-895. The base was overrun by Xenomorphs in 2202 following a containment breach, with researcher Timothy Hoenikker emerging as the only survivor.

Pala Station was divided into seven Staff sections.

S1: Manpower[]

Manpower served as the administrative section of Pala Station.

S3: Engineering[]

The Enginering section was charged with maintaining the essential systems and door locks at Pala Station, and had a fractious relationship with Fabrications. As of 2202, Engineering was pressed to the limit dealing with a rat infestation.

S5: Med–Lab[]

The Med–Lab was tasked with researching the Xenomorph species and a dangerous alien pathogen discovered on LV–895. An acid–proof armor for the USCM was one innovation developed at the lab. The section featured a reception area and a central hub dubbed "Grand Central", as well as a series of ten–by–ten containment units.

S6: Communications[]

S7: Fabrications[]

S7 was charged with producing essential materials. It received various alternate designations including Acquisitions, Infiltrations, Reparations, "Thieverations" and "Mastications". Materials produced at Fabrications were utilized in the Medlab, including a special tungsten–coated glass used for containment.
