A Pack is a small part of Yautja on a hunting Expedition. They are distinct from a Clan in that they operate in fewer numbers. Usually, there are just three individuals per hunt, as observed in Predators and Alien vs. Predator.
The leader of a Pack is called a Hunting Captain or Alpha Male. Sometimes they are simply referred to as Leader.
Overview

Packs of predators are contingents of a clan sent to a planet to Hunt. These hunters are on the same side and, with the exception of un-blooded Yautja, do not interfere or compete with each other. Though on the same hunt, they often split off to pursue prey by their lonesome as that is the usual hunting practice for more seasoned Predators such as Jungle Hunter or City Hunter.
Yautja, although a part of the same pack, do not appear to hunt one prey item cooperatively unless taking down particularly dangerous being such as a Queen Alien or the legendary clan-killing Gro'tye. They appear to intercede very little on the part of their fellow hunters, even when in close proximity to them. This is likely linked with the view that saving a hunter from a powerful assailant is robbing them of an honorable death, something that is very insulting to rescued predator. In teaching sessions, to be relegated to the middle of the pack is also an insult, as that is the most protected area.
Known Packs
- Tichinde briefly commanded a Pack of rogue Un-Blooded Yautja, turning himself and all of them into Bad Bloods when it was thought that Dachande had died. There were several in his "pack".
- Dachande would often act as mentor to classes of Un-blooded Yautja.
- Stone Heart was the leader of a small pack that came to Neonopolis in the hot season. His subordinates were Long Spear and Swift Knife. They were captured and brainwashed, making them Bad Bloods. All three were killed by Scarface, restoring their honor.
- Berserker was the Pack Leader of the Super Predator Clan and also it's Clan Leader. Falconer and Tracker were his subordinates. The entire Pack was killed in the Hunt.
- Celtic was often seen as the leader of the pack of Young Bloods that went to Antarctica for their Rite of Passage. His packmates were Chopper and Scar. Their entire pack perished in the Hunt.
