The POC Hive was a Xenomorph Hive created in the Primary Operations Complex on LV-1201 after the Incident.
Overview[]
Much smaller than the main Hive on LV-1201, the POC Hive consisted of various rooms and hallways of the POC covered in Xenomorph resin. Superficially, it was similar to the First Acheron Hive on LV-426. No Queen was seen in the POC, suggesting she was either not encountered or the Ovomorphs were created through Eggmorphing.
History[]
Construction of the Hive began soon after the POC was overrun by Xenomorphs on November 25, 2230. On January 6, 2231, United States Colonial Marine Corps Sargeant Hall was taken to the Hive for impregnation. Corporal Andrew Harrison entered the Hive to rescue her, but was too late and witnessed her being killed by a Chestburster.
It is likely that the Hive survived the destruction of the Forward Observation Pods on January 7, 2231.
