"See you in hell, hippies."
Colonel O'Shea (from Aliens: Fast Track to Heaven)

Colonel O'Shea worked for Weyland-Yutani alongside a team of ecologists at the Heaven and Hell research facilities on Jupiter's moon, Europa.

History[]

"Don't think I don't get you people. I waved a flag to save the whales back when I was a kid, before the military. I got a heart, believe it or not, and I love my old mammy, God rest her soul."
Colonel O'Shea (from Aliens: Fast Track to Heaven)

While very little is known about the Colonel's military past, the wrinkled flesh in place of his missing left eye can only lead one to believe he's a dedicated soldier.

At some point in his career, O'Shea was assigned to Weyland-Yutani's dual Heaven and Hell esearch facilities where an ecological research team discovered deep-sea life forms in the neighborhood of the notable Pre-Cambrian Rabbit Abyss black smoker. The company sent a Dr. Negshin from one location in the cosmos straight to their deep-sea research facility to investigate their findings.

Once it was determined that the initial crew had been gone for longer than expected, the other half of the research team, Ali, Susanna, John, Mike, Owen and Hameed, embark on a rescue operation, lead by Colonel O'Shea. His plan was to descend from Heaven station in the Bible, a second space elevator lift, and dock with the immobile Beagle, in hopes they could find the missing crew and repair any issues.

When the rescue team enters the Beagle, though, they find Negshin's bursted open corpse along with the remainder of his team cocooned along the interior of the lift. A large Xenomorph unexpectedly attacks and kills both Owen and Hameed, forcing the remainder of the rescue team back into the Bible. Likewise, the lone Xenomorph finds its way into the shaft and onto the top of the Bible. O'Shea decides their best option is to let the Bible drop at full speed until they hit ground zero, hoping they can make it to safety within the deep-sea research facility, Hell, but when the doors open and the crew runs through three hatches and two chambers to the airlock, Dr. Mike realizes he left his Medipax kit back in the Bible. Without hesitation, he runs to retrieve it while O'Shea stays behind to provide cover, ordering the others to secure themselves within the inpenetrable research facility.

Sometime later, Dr. Mike is found fighting for his life in the airlock and brought inside where he tells the surviving crew about the gunfight with the creature, its acid blood, and O'Shea's death before succumbing to his own wounds.
