O'Malley was a member of the Space Marines, part of a special Xenomorph emergency response unit. He was a skilled tactician who had led numerous inter-planetary missions and was familiar with all known weaponry & terrain.[1]

Early Life[]
O'Malley was born on KR 37[1], he later joined the Space Marines.
Equipment[]
O'Malley carried an arm-mounted rifle as his primary weapon. He also carried a hip-mounted extendable capture claw which could be used to restrain Aliens, when not in use he could store it on his back.
Trivia[]
- Unlike the majority of the Kenner Marines, O'Malley is an original character not based on anyone from the Aliens movie. He shares this distinction with A.T.A.X. Interestingly, both him and A.T.A.X. possess orange hair.
- Much like the other series 3 Marines, Vasquez & Hudson, O'Malley is not given a rank on his packaging or Bio-Data collectible card. However, his beret and role as a tactician suggests that he could be an officer.
- O'Malley's figure is a redeco of the Hicks figure with a new head mold and accessories.
- As O'Malley was released in the later series of figures, he did not appear in any of the mini-comics or merchandise.
- O'Malley received a redeco in a more uniform black and dark green outfit with the chest detail in silver, for the Alien vs. Marine line of two-packs.
