The New Albion Protectorate, also dubbed NAPRO, was the name given to a coalition of worlds that joined the British colony of New Albion following its secession from the Three World Empire in 2186. The formation of the Protectorate was announced by New Albion's Prime Minister Maurice Pepper on July 20 of that year, with Pepper exhorting disgruntled member worlds of the Independent Core System Colonies, the Three World Empire, the Union of Progressive Peoples, and the United Americas to join. The United Nations Interstellar Settlement Corps' Great Mother Mission was complicated by the actions of several NAPRO sympathizers, prompting the 3WE to take action to disband the insurgents.
