Montrell Lupia was a Weyland-Yutani Corporation employee and the communications and navigation officer aboard the transport vessel Athenian. The ship served as the personal transport of company auditor Dorian Sudler, while Lupia and the rest of the crew doubled as Sudler's security detail when he was conducting his audits. In 2179, the Athenian was tasked with transporting Sudler to RB-232, known as "The Cold Forge", so that he could conduct an audit of the research projects being developed there. However, while docked at the station, it was overwhelmed by a devastating Xenomorph outbreak.

Lupia was killed when several escaped Xenomorphs boarded the Athenian and slaughtered its crew, causing the ship itself to crash into the Cold Forge.
