Mitch Byrd (born 1961) is an American comic book artist who provided interior art for the comic Predator: Strange Roux for Dark Horse Comics.

Biography[]

Byrd worked extensively in the comics industry throughout the 1990s, starting out with independent companies like Aircel, Caliber and Malibu Comics and eventually working his way up to assignments for Marvel and DC Comics.

He is perhaps best known for his work at DC, where he worked as an artist on the companies Green Lantern and Guy Gardner comics series among others.

For Dark Horse, Byrd also worked on the company's RoboCop and Starship Troopers comics lines.

Two books of Byrd's artwork have also been published: The Art of Mitch Bird in 2001 and Scribbles & Sketches in 2008.
